Security and trust

Security built
for law firms.

At Veari, protecting client intake data is not an afterthought — it is core to what we sell. Law firms cannot afford downtime or exposure of sensitive caller information. We built Veari with the same security expectations you bring to case management and communications.

Platform security

The trust layer your
clients expect.

Legal software buyers ask the same questions: where is data stored, who can access it, and what happens if something goes wrong. Here is how Veari answers — with the same clarity firms expect from platforms like Lawmatics.

Enterprise cloud infrastructure

Hosted on production-grade cloud platforms

Veari runs on modern serverless infrastructure with automatic scaling, DDoS protection, and geographic redundancy. Your firm's data is stored in US-based PostgreSQL with encryption at rest provided by our database provider.

  • Vercel edge and serverless functions
  • Neon managed Postgres (US regions)
  • No on-premise maintenance burden for your IT team
Bank-grade encryption standards

Data protected in transit and at rest

All traffic between callers, Veari, and your dashboard uses HTTPS/TLS. Database connections use encrypted channels. Sensitive tokens and integration credentials are stored as environment secrets, never in client-side code.

  • TLS 1.2+ for web and API traffic
  • Encrypted database connections
  • Secrets isolated per deployment environment
Access control

Authentication built for law firms

Attorney accounts are protected through Clerk — the same identity layer used by thousands of SaaS products. Support multi-factor authentication, session management, and secure sign-out across devices.

  • Email and social sign-in options
  • MFA available for all users
  • Per-attorney dashboard access scoped to their firm
Tenant isolation

Your firm's data stays yours

Every lead, transcript, and referral partner record is scoped to your attorney account. API routes verify ownership before returning data. Webhooks from telephony providers are validated so only your line's events reach your pipeline.

  • Row-level scoping by attorney ID
  • Dedicated phone numbers per firm where provisioned
  • Webhook signature verification on inbound events
Auditability

Full trail on every lead status change

When a lead moves from new to qualified, referred out, or accepted, Veari records who or what triggered the change — system, webhook, or attorney action. Your team can reconstruct the intake timeline without guessing.

  • LeadStatusHistory on every transition
  • Transcripts retained with the lead record
  • Refer-out actions timestamped with partner details
Availability and backups

Built to stay online when phones ring

Managed database providers perform continuous backups and point-in-time recovery. Telephony integrations are designed with retries and idempotent webhooks so duplicate events do not corrupt your pipeline.

  • Automated database backups
  • Idempotent webhook processing
  • Cron jobs secured with bearer tokens
Confidentiality and compliance

Built for sensitive
intake conversations.

Designed for attorney–client confidentiality

Intake calls often contain health, insurance, and accident details. Veari treats transcripts and lead records as confidential firm data — accessible only to authenticated users on your account.

You control retention and exports

Your firm decides which integrations receive lead data. Export and CRM sync happen through authenticated APIs you enable — not public feeds.

Third-party subprocessors

Voice, telephony, and AI scoring may involve vetted providers (e.g. Twilio, Bland, Anthropic). We minimize data sent to scoring models to what is required for case qualification.

Veari is legal intake software, not a law firm. We follow enterprise security practices appropriate for SaaS handling confidential caller data. For a current list of subprocessors or security documentation, contact support@veari.us.

Security FAQ

Straight answers

Where is my data stored?
Application and database infrastructure are hosted in the United States through our cloud providers (Vercel, Neon, and related services).
Who can see call transcripts?
Only authenticated users on your Veari attorney account. Transcripts are tied to your leads and are not shared across firms.
Do you sell lead data?
No. Veari is a software platform for your firm — we do not broker or resell intake leads to other attorneys.
Can we use our own phone number?
Yes. Forward an existing line or provision a dedicated number. Either way, call events are routed only to your firm's pipeline.

Read our Privacy Policy for details on data collection and use.
